26-Sep-2017 Juniors Win Division 5 League Final
Our Juniors captured the Division 5 title in Darver on Tuesday night after a play-off versus St. Fechins. Both teams ended the season on 21 points from 11 games, the only point dropped was the draw match between the sides in Termonfeckin. In fact it was on that night that this team really won the title as they showed unbelievable character to come from six points down in the dying minutes to snatch a draw in added time.

26-Aug-2017 Third Annual Dromiskin 5k on September 9th
Along with St Peters AC, we are very proud to be jointly hosting the 3rd Annual Dromiskin 5k. The Dromiskin fit club established the event over the last two years and the other two community clubs hope to keep this great event going for many more years to come. Indeed all three clubs recently came together to officially launch this year’s event, along with Main Sponsor, Declan Loy of Viking Windows. It is a great example of different community groups working together in Sport.

05-Nov-2016 And So it Ends! At the Hands of the Dublin Champions
The Joes intermediate team went into the quarter final of the Leinster championship on the longest championship winning run of any Joes first team since 1983/84! Not only had they become the first Joes team to win all their group stage championship games, but they had broken that record of Louth championship semi-final defeats which the club had suffered for the previous four years. To top all this off, they had become the first ever Joes team to win a championship game in Leinster.

22-Oct-2016 Joes Win in Leinster for 1st Time & Do it At Cluskey Park
The 22nd October 2016 was an historic day for our wee club. Not only was it the first time that we had played a Leinster Championship Match in Louth, but we got to play it at Cluskey Park and most important of all, it was the first time the club won a game in Leinster! It was not amongst our better performances this year, but in a very tight affair our lads showed the grit and determination to hang in and eek out the win.

03-Oct-2016 Intermediate Champions! Full Report
On the 25th September 2016, 33 years to the day, that the Joes won their first intermediate championship, they faced into their most recent chance to repeat the feat. Once in between, the club had lifted the Seamus Flood Cup, but the current spell playing at the intermediate grade had been the longest in club history. There was an aching to get back up to Senior, particularly after four years of some heart breaking defeats at the semi-final stage of the competition up until 2016.
