This Weeks News Well done to Marc Mc Donel, Kevin Whyte and David Cadden who completed their FAI Senior intro coaching badge at Milebush Park Castlebar , today. 3 more coaches at the club and a further step in our commitment to coach education at Killlala FC.
This Weeks News Big week ahead as we are busy getting ready for the Annual Awards night in The Wolf Dog Tavern on Saturday night next starting at 8.30pm. Guest of honour Donal Conway , Vice president of the FAI will be joined our U16 Connaught Shield winning Girls team . Also presention of medals to the boys U14 & U16 Squads, as well as the U12 girls and o fcourse the U16 girls. Player of the year at U12 to U18 in both boys and girls and the Mens awards as well as Appreciation and acheivment awards.
This Weeks News AGM went well last night , a few changes and a lot of plans for 2015 . A full report will follow later . Next date in your diary is The Annual awards night in The WolfDog Tavern on Saturday 21st Feb . It's our 40th so it will be special.

This Weeks News The men's team opened their Connaught cup campaign with a good 2-1 victory over Cregmore (Galway FL) at Courthouse St this afternoon . Despite playing neat football and dominating possession they found themselves 1-0 behind at the break but a good team goal finished off by Vincent Kearney and an excellent strike from Rónán O HEimhrín put them into round 2. In other games at the weekend the u18 lost to Fahy Rvs despite a Shane McAndrew hatrick and the u15 boys lost 5-2 in trophy semi

This Weeks News The big match is confirmed for Saturday at 3pm Killala U16 Girls V Ballinrobe U16 Girls in the Connaught Shield final at courthouse St. Come along and support the girls. the curtain raiser for this is Killala U18 boys V Ballinrobe U18 boys at 1pm in a Div 1 match. in other games U12 boys travel to Clew Bay for 12.30 ko , Bus leaves at 10.30am on saturday morning. on Sunday the mens ream entertain Iorras Aontaithe in the FAI junior cup at 2pm also in killala
This Weeks News Top story of the weekend was the U16 girls victory in the Connaught Shield semi final in galway when goals from Alison Munnelly and Ciara Whyte put them into the final against Ballinrobe Town with a wonderful 2-1 victory over Corrib Rangers. well done to Stephen , Mark and all the girls. In the boys Connaught cups Iorras Aontaithe dumped out our U12 and U16 boys teams in Killala whilst the U14 Boys fared better in Conn Rangers winning 6-1 to advance to rd 2.
This Weeks News U18 boys went goal crazy in a league match at home on Saturday morning with 4 from Nathan Browne 3 from Kyle McLoughlin and one from Shane McAndrew giving them victory over Casrlebar Town.
