Crosshaven Under 9’s V Carrigaline Under 9’s.
Crosshaven welcomed Carrigaline to Camden Road in our first friendly of the season yesterday.
The boys had been complaining all winter about not getting any snow but yesterday they got their wish and in games played in the worst playing conditions since Storm Ophelia, and in mud trenches not seen since World War 1, they acquitted themselves well against a very strong Carrigaline outfit and the games were played in great spirit.

Juniors took on hibernians in a friendly game in Camden, in preparation for the big rival cup game next Sat against carrigaline. 7 changes from the last game saw a few youths entering the team. It was a big step up for the lads and an opportunity for players that hadn't played a match since before Christmas..

Crosshaven AFC wish to pass their sympathies on to the family and friends of Liam Miller who passed away at just 36 years of age. Liam who played with Celtic, Man. Utd., Sunderland, Cork City to name just a few began his schoolboys career with Ballincollig and would have had many matches against Crosshaven underage.
RIP.

06-Feb-2018 Juniors were back in action this weekend
They faced a very strong cobh side at home in Camden, which saw the introduction of 3 new signings in the starting 11. Cobh piled pressure on in the opening minutes but a long ball forward caught cobh on the break of play, with Jonathon o Regan getting on the end of it to round the keeper to put the blues 1 up. Cobh responded at the start of the second half to bring the game level.

06-Feb-2018 The U15's returned to competitive action...
The U15's returned to competitive action for the first time in 8 weeks Saturday morning away to Ballincollig A in the Local Cup. The Regional Park was extremely heavy and didn't suit Crosshaven at all but the team still managed to grind out a victory. A goal from the training ground gave Crosshaven a team minute lead. Lee Davies heading home a Rory O'Sullivan corner.
