Ladies Football:

Under 12s lost their league game to Menlough / Skehana. We saw a very good display from our girls and at half-time it seemed that with the wind we would have victory but we could not get the important scores in the second half. Best from Dunmore: Auveen Glynn (goalie), Katie Hannon, Sinead Burke, Kiah Finnegan, Sarah Prendergast and Aoife Naughton. They play Mountbellew/Moylough away this Wednesday evening.

Under 14s: Match cancelled on Monday due to pitch conditions.

Under 16s: This team had an easy win over Monivea/Abbey in the League in Dunmore. This was an excellent display from the entire panel and now has two wins out of two.

Senior Championship: Our senior team made the long journey on Saturday evening to Killanin for this game.

We found water – logged match. A long journey and a wasted evening could have been avoided.

Galway Under 12s: Congratulations to Aoife Naughton, Auveen Glynn, Sinead Burke, Katie Hannon, and Kiah Finnegan who will wear the Galway Under 12 jersey next Saturday against Mayo in a football Blitz.

Congratulations to Natalie Maloney and Ita Meehan on completing the Foundation Coaching Course last Saturday in Caherlistrane.

Level 1 Coaching Course will take place in July. If you would like to attend contact the Secretary, Mary Hannon.

Meeting: A meeting of Dunmore MacHales Ladies will take place on Thursday night, 28th May at 8.30 in the Women’s Centre.
