Carrigaline Hurling and Football Club

As was already reported, Carrigaline under 12 team had the honour of playing in their club colours in Croke Park last Sunday at half time in the league final.  Two teams played Swinford from Mayo and won both games.  Well done lads.  They proudly marched out onto the pitch behind the band, and absolutely enjoyed this great occasion.  The team management would like to thank John Middleton of Ulster Bank for providing tickets for the corporate box, Tesco for Lucozade Sport and the club for crisps and chocolate.  Icing on the cake was Cork's win with our own Nicholas Murphy playing his part.  They arrived back in Carrigaline about 10.30pm, tired, but very, very happy.
