For almost 130 years the exploits of Moneygall GAA Club and our predecessors The Honeymounts have helped forge a clear sense of identity and place in our parish. Successive generations have faced many challenges and overcome numerous obstacles in promoting our games and providing top class facilities.
As the club embarks on this process, we have decided to host a workshop evening in the GAA Centre on
Friday 28th February at 8.30pm. This will be an open forum and everybody in the parish is welcome to attend, whether as an individual or as a representative of another club or organisation in our community.
The aim of the workshop will be to gather suggestions as to how best our club can meet the opportunities and challenges of the coming years. We also want to find out how we can improve our contribution to our community and we are anxious to hear the views of all our parishioners – young and old, male and female, members and non-members, players and officials, and parents.
The Club Plan will be structured around five key areas: (1) Coaching & Games Development; (2) Club Structures & Administration; (3) Finance & Fundraising; (4) Facilities & Development; (5) Communications/PR & Culture.
We hope to see a good turnout at this event and we look forward hearing your views. Your voice is important, your opinion is valuable, and your suggestions are welcome.
