Minors

On Wednesday 6th July our minor girls had their first game of the championship against Moycarky in Littleton. Conditions were difficult with a strong wind blowing and the girls were under pressure from the beginning of the game as we lost the toss and had to play against the wind. Moycarky fielded a very strong team and were well ahead at the final whistle. Great credit to St Pats girls who kept going and never gave up. This is a young minor team and can take positive from Wednesday match.

Team: Sadhbh Morrissey, Maire Mcgrath,  Eimear Kenny, Eimear Ryan, Eadaoin Wilson, Sarah Walton,  Ruth Mcdonald, Caoimhne Ryan, Abbie Maher, Niamh Keane, Ciara Horan, Caoimhe Murphy, Aoife Horan, Niamh Ryan, Joelle Mahoney and Aine Ryan.

U12's

U12's first league game was played last Saturday evening in Cappawhite against Cappawhite.  The girls went out on the field in great spirit and looking forward to a good game.  We had 18 girls for the match including our ever ready under 10's who make up a good committed panal.  In the first few minutes it seemed that both teams were fairly well matched but then St. Patrick's just got a new lease of life and started scoring goals and points are great speed.  It was a pleasure to watch as they worked hard as a team and got some good scores.  Girls who did not have the chance to score before got great goals. Scorers on the evening were Amy O'Connell 3 goals (including a penalty), Aoife O'Brien 1 goal, Mia O'Dwyer 1 goal, Clodagh Horan 2 goals and 1 point, Sophie O'Brien 1 point and Clodagh Foley 1 point.  Final score was 7.03 to 1.01.  Well done to all the girls on a great game.

U14's

On Thursday 7th July the U14 had their third outing in the summer league. The match was against Boherlahan in Boherlahan. From the beginning of the game St Pats girls were off the pace and were finding it difficult to get into the game. The second half was a much better performance but the damage had been done in the first half and the girls were unable to close the gap. On the evening we were beaten by the better team and will take some learning from the game to work on in training.

U14 Team- Dearbhla Morrissey, Robyn Horan, Katie Mccormack, Izzy Hayden, Sarah Cranitch, Eimear Boland, Jess Strappe, Erin O Brien, Eabha Hogan, Eabha Fitzgearld, Aisling Boland, Ava Heffernan, Sadhbh Morrissey, Rachel O' Halloran, Gemma Gahan, Keelin Ryan.
