Our Junior B hurlers played Clerihan in their first game of the championship last Sunday in Fethard. In what was a tight game we ran out 5 point winners on a scoreline of 2-9 to 0-10. Team on the day was: Robbie McCormack, Darren Meagher, Colm Dunne, Tommy Hayes, Kieran Clancy, Ciarán Mockler, Dermot Molloy, Aaron Cronin, Conor Gorey, Keelan O Neil, Richie Needham, Darren Boland, Kieran O Brien, TJ Noonan, Cameron Moynihan, Marcus O Halloran, Ivan Brett, Brian Anglim, Stephen Coffey.
On this Saturday evening 21st May our Junior A hurlers play Carrick Swans at 6.15 in Kilsheelan. At 7.30 on the same evening our Junior B Hurlers play St. Mary’s also in Kilsheelan.
On Tuesday next 24th May our Junior A hurlers will be back in action when they play St. Marys in the Co. Intermediate League at 7.30 in Anner Park Cloneen.
Minor Football
Our minor footballers played Clerihan last Tuesday in Monroe. With a loss and a draw already in the group a win was vital here to have any chance of qualifying. Unfortunately things did not go to plan and we lost on a scoreline of 5-8 to 1-6.
