Ladies football news

St. Patrick’s Ladies Gaa ClubWell done to Niamh Keane and Caoimhe Ryan who played with Tipperary in the Munster under 14 football championship on Sunday 3rd March against Limerick. They scored a goal and a point between them and played well. Unfortunately with many wides Tipperary were beaten by 1 point. Limerick 1-6 Tipperary 2-2.Congratulations to Niamh Keane who collected her Munster winners and All-Ireland runners up medals on Friday last in Monroe for her U14 success last year.A date to keep free for yor diary:St.Patrick's ladies GAA in association with Barnardos are holding a "FUN RUN" on Easter Monday 21st May which will commence in Cloneen. More details to follow at a later stage.The g4o ladies have commenced training on Monday nights. If anyone would like to join us, please do, everyone is welcome. Training at the moment is in Cloneen hall on Monday and Thursday nights from 7.30 to 9pm.Under 12 girls football training will commence on Saturday 22nd February at 11.45 - 1pm indoors in Drangan hall for a few weeks until the weather improves. All girls who were born in 2002 and 2003 are eligable to play at this level. Mouth guards are compulsory from now on both for training and matches. We are looking forward to seeing all girls back at training and new players are always very welcome. Many thanks Una, Helen and Trish. Under 14/16 girls training will continue again this Saturday in Drangan hall at 12 noon.We would like to offer our sympathies to the Crannitch family on the death of Michael. Michael's grandchildren play with the ladies and mens GAA club. May he rest in peace.
