Thank you.U/21(B) Football.Our U/21 footballers are provisionally  fixed to play Aherlow in the West semifinal  in New Inn on Sunday next at 5.30pm. Aherlow are avery strong team with a sprinkling of  County players but if our lads play to their potential they will make a great game of it andhopefully claim a place in the final.In the event of a draw, extra time will be played. We really need your support for this one soplease travel and shout your Parish on, but once again please check fixtures list to confirm as the game may be switched to Saturday.Senior Hurling League.Kickhams played  Golden Kilfeacle in the second round of the Co. League in Dundrum on Sunday last .This was a much improved performanceon their first round display from Kickhams, they were much hungrier and more clinical in their finshingthan their opponents from the the throw in and led at half time on the score  2-9 to 1-7. The second half saw more of the same and eventhough Golden Kilfeacle rallied and  tried hard to rein in the lead, Kickhams kept up the pressure and were deserving winners on the score2-13 to 1-10. In Dundrum, with a 5pm throwin, Kickhams will play Annacarty in the first round of the league, so all support would be welcome.Bon voyage Catriona.Unfortunately, for most of the playing season, the juniors will have to play without the services of Catriona Horan. Catriona`s studies &work will see her move overseas for a period of 6 months, and all associated with the club wish her the very best in her new venture.Catriona has been a member & player with the club since age 8, and anyone who has seen her play down through the years will understandhow much of a loss she will be to the club. This quiz has grown inpopularity over the years amongst all the schools in the area, with teams competing in two categories, 3rd & 4th class for the councilshield while the Michael Breen perpetual trophy will go to the winning team in the 5th & 6th class category.OUR LADY’S SODALITY.Meeting.The monthly meeting of Our Lady’s Sodality will be held on Monday next the 28th of March. Mass in Knockavilla church @ 7.30pm, all arewelcome.Knock Pilgrimage.The annual pilgrimage to Knock Shrine will take place on the 24th and 25th of May. County Council wish to announce that the purchase price for a grave space in the new graveyard in Knockavilla for 2011 is nowpriced at €600. This price is also subject to a VAT rate of 13.5% which brings the final price to €681.Knockavilla /Donaskeigh Youth Club.Knockavilla/Donaskeigh Youth Club continues every Friday night in Knockavilla Community centre from 7 pm to 8.30pm. The first few weekshave been  great fun for all concerned. The club is open to 8-12 year olds attending  primary school.
