Club text message service
We are continuing with our free text message service via TEAMER 51001 which we use to notify members regarding various club activities. If you wish to avail of this service, please text your name and number to Marc at 087 8362297. These messages are free to receive and a reply is not required. We currently have over 300 subscribers but would like to enhance it further to ensure all our supporters are aware of our activities and are notified when venues are changed or games cancelled etc
 
Weekly newsletter email
You can register to receive our free weekly newsletter email at our lotto website www.locallotto.ie - just search for The Downs. The newsletter is sent every Monday night and includes that night’s lotto results and club notes.
 
Bingo
Bingo  continues every Friday at 8.30, come along and bring a friend for an enjoyable nights entertainment.

Club Shop
The club shop will be opened as required.  Stock available for  Christmas, small quantities of all items in stock – gloves, gloves, wind cheaters, kit bags. contact Carmel at 087 9496347.
 
Christmas Gifts
Can’t think what to buy someone for Christmas, why not consider a yearly Lotto ticket or some club gear
 
Tables Chairs
If you borrowed tables or chairs from the club and have not yet returned them please organise their return with any committee member.

500 Draw
The Final 500 Draw for this year will be held on St Stephens Day after the charity football game.
 
Christmas Wishes
The club would like to extend a happy and holy Christmas to all our members, supporters, coaches, players and everyone associated with the club and to thank all who support our club lotto and bingo every week and to all supporters of our 500 Draw to all our sponsors and especially our main sponsor Flynn Fuels.
Our sympathy to members who have suffered bereavements in the past year.

St Stephen's Day Charity Game
Following the success of last years charity game the organising committee are going ahead with a game this St Stephens day at 2.30 followed by entertainment in the hall. So all you golden oldies, greats of yesteryear and coaches dust off, shine up the boots and come along and show how it’s done.
 
The Downs Ladies Football
The Ladies Football Club would like to wish all players, coaches, parents and supporters a happy and holy Christmas and to thank everyone who supported our fundraising and provided sponsorship during the year.
 
Fundraising
The Ladies Football are collecting bags of clothes as a fundraiser, so you can now de- clutter and help the club raise funds. Bags are available from any team coach or committee member or in The Shop.
