Leinster Junior Hurling Championship.
St Patricks[ Ballyragget] 2- -18 Brosna Gaels 1--4.
The gulf in class between Kilkenny and Offaly hurling was very evident in Ballyragget on Sunday. The home side were better able to control the ball in all situations, their striking was cleaner and their accuracy was outstanding. All the "Gaels" tried their hearts out but to no avail.It was a great adventure to reach a Leinster semi final and gave the players a chance to play against players of the calibre of the St Patricks lads. team.
