U21 FOOTBALL SPONSORED BY MICILINS BAR
Kilrossanty are western champions.  Last Saturday night we played
Comeragh Gaels in the U21 final in what proved to be a tuff night for
football in a rain swept Fraher field.  We got off to a bad start
conceeding a penalty in the first few minutes but the lads showed a
lot of belief and determination to recover and start putting scores on
the board. We conceeded another goal and two points before half time
but still remained in the lead by a point.  In the second half we got
on top in defence and only gave them two points while at the other end
we scored four points which thankfully was enought to win the title.
There were some fine displays in defence while midfield gave their all

final score was Kilrossanty 13pts Comeragh gaels 2.4 Kilrossanty
