On the Field
Adult Football
Senior:
Hard luck to the senior footballers who were beaten by St. James in the John Dunne Cup on Saturday. The lads were hugely depleted with many players away last week.
Junior:
Hard luck to the Junior Footballers who missed out on a league final place after an agonising one point loss to Fr. Griffins Éire Óg on Friday. The lads were victim to some extremely cynical fouling in the last 10 mins with players taken down while through on goal. However it’s been a fairly successful league campaign all in all with 6 games, 4 wins, 2 one point defeats and over 40 players used. Next up is championship in August.
Minor:
The minor footballers are building up towards championship in August. They played out a highly competitive challenge vs Clane of County Kildare on Saturday afternoon in the Prairie.

Adult Hurling Junior A:
SK Junior A Hurlers played Kinvara in the soaring heat in Castlegar on Saturday evening in Carnmore in a do or die clash.
The game ended in a draw on a final scoreline of 1-12 apiece. Hopefully this will prove enough for SK.
Well done to all involved for the battling performance.

The Junior C Hurlers were defeated away to Kilnadeema/Leitrim lastnight. However this was a much improved performance by the lads.
