Juvenile Football

Juv Football had their first meeting of all coaches last week and everyone is looking forward to year ahead .

Most teams are planning on returning back 1st week in February after a nice break over the winter where all the batteries were re-charged

U-8’s/U-9’s/U-10s are all back training every Tuesday in the Aras 6-7 and 7-8 for u-10S, while U-11s will return on Mondays 6-8 and U-6/7’s will return in early March

U-14s are busy preparing for a big season ahead and played Tuam Stars last week in Tuam where they had a good win this team plan to play a few challenge games around Galway footballers league games so based on last weeks result they could be a lucky omen.

The Juvenile Football committee are also looking for help for the year ahead as with over 12 teams and 400 children there is a lot of work involved in running the Football Section.

As the old motto goes its better to have a lot of people do a little rather than a few people do everything so with a new year and fresh enthusiasm if any parents are willing to help out in any way be it as a one off or attend a meeting once a month for 7/8 months please contact Juvenile Football chairman Noel Tyrell on 0879506140 or email noeltyrell@hotmail.com
