Mens team loose out to the dreaded penalties
The Tonra Cup final finsished 1-1 AET at Milebush Park yesterday then holders Killala crashed out to Moy Villa 8-7 on penalties. Killala were a goal behind at the break and were struggling to get into the game. A reshuffle at the beginning of the second period saw them fight their way back into contention and when John Clarke equalized with 12 minutes left it looked that we might snatch it. Extra time saw more good opportunities to win it  but scorned chances sent it to the lottery of a shoot out and we were outscored 8 to 7.….read more

Mixed luck for Killala Lads
The U13 Boys And U16 Boys both traveled to Snugboro for league matches last evening. The U13 ,s had a good 4-3 win with goals from Shane McAndrew, Kyle Mcloughlin, Kevin Healy & Caelan Dorris …..read more but the U16 Boys went down to a 3-0 scoreline

All roads lead to Milebush Park
Killala FC Mens team are in the Mayo League headquarters this Sunday for the Tonra Cup Final where they face Moy Villa FC . Holders Killala face a tough task against local rivals Villa as they loose Eamon Knox through suspension and Ian O’Boyle through injury, but their form away from home has been excellent this season so heres hoping for a repeat of last years success. Good Luck to the lads and bring home your cup.

First piece of European Silverware for Killala FC
The Girls returned home in good spirits from the San Marino Cup with the trophy for finishing fourth place in the U19 section. More pics can be viewed in the gallery and match reports to follow. Well done girls!

U14 Boys finish on top
The U14 Boys finished their league programme in style with a fine 3-0 win  against Straide & Foxford Utd at Courthouse St. tonight. Goals from Ciaran Lally (2) and Darragh O’Boyle made sure Killala finished in joint first place in division 3 and now face Ballina Town in a play off for the title. Well done boys !.…read more

Major Award for Killala FC
Members of Killala FC travelled to Dublin today to collect their Aviva /FAI Club of the month award.  In the Park Plaza Hotel, Tyrellstown, Aidan Sweeney, Johnny Cuffe , Lorraine Munnelly & Peter McDonnell received their €1500 cheaque from Mr David Blood , President of the FAI and Julieanne Mc Keigue of Aviva. Killala now go forward with the other seven finalists to the Club of the Year competition  to be held on 20th August  in Wexford during the FAI AGM week.
