Girls Under 13 Interleague Development Day
Galway, Sligo/Leitrim and Mayo
Schoolgirls U-13 Squads played a round robin series in Milebush Park,
Castlebar on Saturday 19th December.
As the games were developmental
there were no trophies or prizes on offer as the games were there to
assist the girls to develop in a learning enviroment without fear of
failure and for the coaches to be able to assess them against other
elite representative squads.
A special thanks to the coaches
who mentored the players over the last 10 weeks, Womens Development
Officer Moyia Parke who initiated the idea, the leagues for their
support of this initiative, the players for their effort over the last
10 weeks and also to the supporters who travelled on the day to support
the participants.
