Camogie news:

The u 12s played a very successful go games blitz in Kilcoleman on Saturday. They continue to improve and are competing very intensely in all games. Thanks to all involved in making the Go Games work so well.
The Junior Bs had two Munster league games  over the last two weeks against Tulla (Clare) and St Vincents (Cork). Despite being seriously depleted and having no more than the bare team they competed extraordinarily well against very experienced opposition. Both games were worth their weight in gold in terms of experience and the Hurling skills of the team are improving with every game. The team also got to wear their new set of Jerseys sponsored by Nenagh Credit Union. The team took the long bus trip to Cork last Friday and were very well looked after by the St Vincents team afterwards. Huge respect must go to the team for competing so well against the odds. Next Friday they travel to Ennis to play Eire Og Ennis at 8 o clock and support would be very much appreciated. Thank You also to Kathleen Clarke for looking after the First Aid for the team. Team Laura McKenna Claire Collins Donna Mitchell Catriona O Connor Sarah Maher Alice Darcy Mikaella Gleeson Rebecca White Mary Dillon Gemma Morris Danielle Harrington Niamh Costello Jessica Maher Rosin O Brien Louise Hickey.

The club had a sponsored walk on Sunday morning and would ask that all sponsorship cards be handed back this week.
Congratulations to St Marys Nenagh for winning the Cumann Na Mbunscol u 11 and u 13 a County finals last week in Thurles. The hard work being put in by Suzanne Kelly and Tommy Mulcahy in the school will reflect well on our club with plenty of new well coached recruits. We thank the school for this and look forward to a fruitful relationship. We would also like to thank the Cumann Na mBunscol committee for putting together two days of fantastic finals in Semple Stadium. The much maligned school staff have shown that the fruits of their unpaid labour is well received by the Children Parents and clubs.

Congratulations to Maeve Coffey who played for Tipperary on Sunday in the Primary games against Clare in the Gaelic Grounds.
