There will be great benefits for the individual and potentially for our club. This programme is completely free of charge and will cover registration fees, travel and food costs. * The Last Man Standing competition has been launched by our senior panel. There is an entry fee of £10 with a £400 prize. If you need entry forms please contact William Og McCawley or Cahal Crilly. We would encourage all members to support this initiative by our senior panel to raise much needed funds.
* Down Club Draw tickets are now available. The club are required to sell a minimum of 20 tickets at £120 each. Any Club member who wishes to purchase one please contact Brian Dougherty.
* Finally a belated happy 75th birthday to none other than Dick Looby. Dick celebrated this great occasion in style last week. He without doubt is one of our young of mind forward thinkers in the world of hurling and shows an appetite for the game that can only put us all to shame. He still takes time to follow the fortunes of the young and not so young hurlers. But most of all he is a great listening ear and the dispenser of great advice. I tried to get something on you Dick but nobody was talking! A testimony indeed. Happy birthday sir!
