Club AGM
The club AGM was held on Friday 5th Nov and was well attended.
Chairman Sean Farrell welcomed everyone and spoke of the need to introduce the 5 year plan which was adpoted in Feb 2010. He expressed thanks to all who had looked after teams and all players who had represented the club. Sean announced that he had served as Chairman for two years and was now stepping down and taking on another role within the club.
The Secretary Enda Plunkett presented his annual report along with reports on the workings of the various sub-committees. Garrett Reilly gave a presentation on the Developments during the year along with the financing of these including the building of the new dressing rooms and renovations of the pavillion.
The election of officers then took place and the following are the club officers for 2011.
President: Eddie Kenny
Chairman: Colm Cummins
Vice-Chair: Enda Plunkett
Secretary: Sean Farrell
Asst Secretary: Lisa Harte
Treasurers: Garrett Reilly & Ellie Mooney
PRO: David Farrell
Registrar: Garrett Reilly
Players Rep: John Hurst
Youth Rep: Conor O'Donoghue
The various sub-committees will be re-appointed over the coming weeks and news of these will be made available when to hand.
Colm in a speech on his election as chairman thanked Seanie for his work over the last two years. He told the meeting that everyone needs to pull together and stop the negative attitudes that exist in the club. He asked members to work hard at implementing the Club Plan as he is confident that in 2015 we will look back from a position of strength. If we get our club working as efficently as it can, success on the field will come.
Membership for 2011 has been left unchanged as follows:
Adult Player €50
Non player €20
Under 18 €20
Family €50 (includes 2 Adults & all children U18)
OAP €5
Membership can be paid to any committee member and all membership must be paid prior to first competitive game or by March 31 2011.
