Senior: Lorrha's final round game of the County Championship against Knockavilla Kickhams takes place this Sunday 13th August in Nenagh at 1.30pm where a win or a draw will see us into the next round. Your support would be appreciated.
Junior: Lorrha's next game is at home to Roscrea, likely on weekend 19-20 August.
Minor: Lorrha Rovers Gaels suffered a heavy defeat at home to Toomevara last Wednesday. They play Silvermines in Dolla this Thursday, 10th August at 7.00pm, however both sides cannot make the semi-finals.
Under 16: Lorrha Rovers Gaels played Roscrea in Moatfield on Monday week last but were defeated 3-20 to 1-7. Their final group game is away to Borrisokane on Monday 14 August at 7pm.
Under 14: Lorrha Rovers Gaels played Portroe in the North 'B' Hurling quarter final in Lorrha last Wednesday but suffered a heavy 2-19 to 1-4 defeat. Hard luck to the players and mentors.
Under 12: Pride of place this week goes to our Under 12 hurlers who defeated Borrisokane 8-6 to 5-4 in the North 'B' hurling final on Saturday in Puckane. Well done to the players and mentors. They will now play Drom & Inch in the County semi-final on Saturday 19th August.
Tipperary: Hard luck to Patrick Maher, Brian Hogan, John Madden and the Tipperary Senior hurlers in the All Ireland semi-final against Galway.
Fundraiser: The club has launched a 2500-to-1 fundraising draw with a prize fund of €10,000. We have 2,500 tickets valued from 1 cent to 2500 cents (€25) and when you accept to take a ticket, you scratch off a hidden section and the value in this section is what you pay for the ticket, it could be 1 cent, €25, or any value in between. All tickets bought will be entered into a draw in late September for a top prize of €5,000 with eleven ther prizes ranging from €2,000 to €200. Your support would be appreciated.

President's Birthday: Congratulations and Happy Birthday to our Club President Michael O'Meara (The Hill) who celebrated a milestone 100th birthday last Saturday. On Monday evening, the club hosted a special event to mark the event at with a number of presentations were made by local organisations to a great and popular man.
