Lorrha GAA News for 30 January

Auction: The Auction and Sale of Work will take place on Sunday, 31st January at 2pm. Six weeks after the original date, we finally hold our annual winter auction which as always will have plenty of fuel and farm produce.

Fun Wall competition: As part of the Auction & Sale of Work on Sunday, there will also be a Fun Wall competition in the Sports Hall for both adults and juveniles. Trophies are on the way from our friends at Lyons in Killimor. A big thank you to Ute and Lisa Duggan, Louise & Katie Downes and to Nóirín Cronin and James Dunne for their work in painting the mural on the wall last weekend.

Coaching Course: A Foundation Coaching course will take place in the club over two nights on Thursday, 28th January & Wednesday, 3rd February in the GAA Centre. Anyone undertaking the course must have completed a Child Welfare Course in advance which will take place this evening (Wednesday, 27th January) in the GAA Centre at 7pm at €10 per person. To book your place on the coaching course, contact Coaching Officer JP Houlihan 0879061521 or Louise Mannion 0876598387.

Senior Hurling: Lorrha have been drawn with Kilruane MacDonaghs, Clonoulty-Rossmore and Portroe in the group stage of the County Senior Hurling Championship.

Lotto: Our jackpot is now €5,400 with a Match 3 pot of €100. Thank you for your continued support. You can play our lotto online at www.locallotto.ie where it is easy to play every week. Tickets are €2 each or three for €5.

Closing date for membership for all adult and juvenile players is the last day of February to be insured in training and games while the closing date for all membership is 31st March. This date will be strictly enforced and no monies will be accepted beyond this date.
