Senior: The senior hurlers booked a place in the quarter final of the North Championship with a hard earned 1-15 to 0-16 win over Borris-Ileigh in Cloughjordan on Sunday evening. Patrick Maher's first minute proving to be the difference. The quarter finals are provisionally scheduled for 27-28 June.
In the meantime, Lorrha will play Nenagh Eire Og in the semi-final of the County Challenge Cup in Cloughjordan on Friday, 19th June at 7.45pm.
Junior Hurling: The Junior 'B' hurlers will play Moneygall in the North League semi-final in Cloughjordan this Sunday, 7th June at 6.00pm. Your support would be appreciated.
Under 14: Lorrha/Shannon Rovers get their hurling championship campaign underway this evening (Wednesday) when they play Burgess in Kilcolman at 7.00pm. Next week, 10th June they host Moneygall/Clonakenny.
Under 12: The U12's will begin their hurling championship campaign this Friday, 5th June when they travel to Cloughjordan to face Kilruane MacDonaghs at 7pm.
Nicky Rackard Cup Final: Best of luck to Ronan O'Meara who is on the Roscommon senior hurling team who will play Armagh in the Nicky Rackard Cup final this Saturday at Croke Park. The game is live on TG4 from 1.30pm.
Exams: Best of luck to all from the club sitting their Leaving and Junior Cert exams over the next couple of weeks.
Tipperary Clubs Draw: The start of the 2015/2016 Tipperary GAA Clubs Draw is this Friday, 5th June. Tickets are €100 or can be paid in montly, bi-monthly or half yearly instalments. For this you will be entered into 12 monthly draws with 2 cars as top prizes each month with over €9000 in other prizes each month. Social Dancing: continues on Friday night to the music of Peter Burke. Dancing 9.30pm to 12.30am.
Date for your Diary: Tipp FM will be doing a live show from Lorrha GAA Club on Wednesday, 10th June from 11am to 2pm. Fran Curry's Classic Cafe will be broadcast live and an interesting show is promised. All are invited to be part of the show.
