Lorrha GAA News for 20 July

Lotto: The numbers drawn last week were: 5 – 14 – 16 - 18. No Winner.

Senior: Lorrha were defeated by Roscrea in the James Holohan Cup final in Toomevara on Sunday evening on a scoreline of 3-15 to 2-13, see match report.
Lorrha's final hope of silverware now rests in the O'Riain Cup and Lorrha will play Carrick Davins in the semi-final this Saturday, 20th July in Templemore at 6.00pm.
Junior Hurling: Lorrha have a bye in round 3 and will play Kildangan in round 4, likely on the August Bank Holiday weekend.
Minor: Lorrha take on Shannon Rovers Gaels in their second game of the championship, in Ballinderry this Thursday evening, 18th July at 7.30pm.
Under 16: The U16 'B' Hurling Championship got underway on Monday last with Lorrha taking on Portroe with Lorrha losing 3-10 to 1-6. Lorrha were due to face Moneygall in round 2 last Friday in Moatfield but no referee arrived with the game being postponed. Lorrha's next game is away to Templederry this Monday at 7pm.
Under 12: Lorrha's lost their final group game, 6-8 to 1-4 to Kildangan in Moatfield last Friday. Lorrha now fall into the group 2 semi-finals where they will play Silvermines in Dolla this Monday, 22nd July at 6.45pm
Tipperary: Best of luck to Ken Hogan and the Tipperary Under 21 hurlers in their Munster semi-final against Cork in Thurles on Wednesday (this evening) and to the Intermediate hurlers in the Munster Final against Cork in Thurles this Friday.
Cúl Camp: This years Kellogg’s Cúl Camp got underway on Monday morning last and continues until Friday. With the weather remaining fine, it should be a great week.
Tipperary Clubs Draws: There was no luck for the club in the July Draw held on Friday night.
Gym Membership: (All rates are inclusive of club membership rates above) Adult Players - €150 (€50+€100); Non-Playing member - €150 (€30+€120); Student - €100 (€20+€80); Family (2+2) - €200 (€80+€120); Non club member - €150. Individual rates are €3 per session for club members and €5 per session for non members. All 2012 members who have not renewed their membership have now had their phobs turned off.
