Lotto: Our jackpot now stands at €17,950. Thank you for your continued support. You can also play our lotto online at www.myclubfinances.com where it is easy to play every week. Tickets are €2 each or three for €5.
Senior: The seniors take on Carrick Davins in the first round of the County Senior Hurling Championship this Sunday, 1st July in Templemore at 2.00pm. Best of luck to the players and mentors.
Minor Hurling: Lorrha Rovers will take on Roscrea in the first round of the Minor ‘A’ hurling championship in early July.
Under 16: Lorrha will begin their U16 hurling campaign against Portroe on 9th July.
Under 12: The U12’s continued their winning ways with a 4-4 to 2-2 win over Templederry in Moatfield last Friday evening. This Friday they travel to Shallee to take on Ballinahinch @ 7.00pm
Tipperary: Well done to Patrick Maher who was superb in Tipperary’s Munster Championship victory over Cork on Sunday. Well done also to Ciaran Haugh who was a late substitute in the Tipperary Intermediate teams’ semi-final win over Cork and will meet Clare in the final next month.
Best of luck to the minor hurlers and senior footballers who face crucial games this week.
Cúl Camp: This years Kellogg’s Cul Camp will be held in Moatfield from 16-20 July from 10am-2.30pm daily. Cost is €55 for 1 child; €100 for 2 children; €140 for 3 children. The camp is open to juveniles between the ages of 6 & 13. Each juvenile will get a Kellogg’s Cúl Camp jersey and gear bag. To register, contact Louise Mannion (0876598387) or online at www.kelloggsculcamps.gaa.ie. There are discount vouchers on boxes of Kellogg’s Cúl Camps when booking online.
First Aid and Defibrillator Training: Anyone interested in taking part in this training course is to contact Shane Brophy (0876989612).
Gym: Our Gym is open on Monday, Wednesday and Friday evenings from 7pm to 9.30pm. There is also a special class on a Thursday evening for those who wish to train at a slower pace from 7-8pm. Gym cost is €3 per member or €5 for non members.
Sports Hall or Function Room booking: If anyone or any sports team would like to use of our facilities which include a sports hall, gym or training field with floodlights or function room, contact Sean Mannion on 087-3643031.
Social Dancing: continues on Friday night to the music of Ted & Cathal Barry. Dancing 9.30pm to 12.30am.
Sympathy: Lorrha GAA Club would like to sympathise with the McIntyre and Liffey families on the death of Mary McIntyre, Portland, who died last week. May she rest in peace.
