Lorrha GAA News for 26 May

Tipperary GAA Clubs’ Draw: Due to the positive response to the new Draw, the first draw of the 2012-2013 Draw has been deferred to Friday, 8th June to give clubs more time to promote the draw and sign up new subscribers.
This year will be its 25th Anniversary and there will be 25 Skoda Cars up front grabs (2 per month) as well as 25 monthly prizes of €500 each. Tickets are €100 each can be paid in two installments of €50 each; five installments of €20 each or ten monthly installments of €10. There is also a direct debit facility available.
If you wish to join, please contact club coordinator Margaret Gleeson or promoters Madeleine Maher, Shane Brophy, Michael Hoctor, John O’Brien, Louis McCormack, Seamus Deely and Tony Coen.
Remember, €50 from every ticket stays with Lorrha GAA club for the promotion of games in the club.
Lotto: The numbers drawn last week were: 2 – 15 – 24 – 29. No Winner.

Senior: The seniors lost 1-21 to 1-13 to Cappawhite in Cappawhite in their latest league game on Sunday afternoon. Lorrha now cannot make the knockout stages.
Our final North Championship game against Borrisokane has been fixed for Sunday, 10th June with the County Championship set to begin in July.
Under 14: The U14 ‘B’ Hurling Championship gets underway on Wednesday, 30th May and Lorrha have been grouped with Roscrea ‘B’, Portroe, Borris-Ileigh, Burgess and Silvermines.
Under 12: Best of luck to the U12s who take on Clonmel Óg in the County End Games of the Football competition in Thurles next Tuesday evening, 29th May. Time to be confirmed.
Tipperary: Best of luck to Patrick Maher and the Tipperary senior hurling team in the Munster Championship opener against Limerick on Sunday. Best of luck also to Ciaran Haugh who is part of the Tipperary Intermediate panel who take on Limerick in Nenagh on Saturday evening. Also best of luck to the Tipp senior and junior footballers this weekend.
Cúl Camp: This years Kellogg’s Cul Camp will be held in Moatfield between 16-20 July from 10am-2.30pm daily. Cost is €55 for 1 child; €100 for 2 children; €140 for 3 children. The camp is open to juveniles between the ages of 6 & 13. Each juvenile will get a Kellogg’s Cúl Camp jersey and gear bag. To register, contact Louise Mannion (0876598387) or online at www.kelloggsculcamps.gaa.ie. There are discount vouchers on boxes of Kellogg’s Cúl Camps when booking online.
Gym: Our Gym is open on Monday, Wednesday and Friday evenings from 7pm to 9.30pm. There is also a special class on a Thursday evening for those who wish to train at a slower pace from 7-8pm. Gym cost is €3 per member or €5 for non members.
Sports Hall or Function Room booking: If anyone or any sports team would like to use of our facilities which include a sports hall, gym or training field with floodlights or function room, contact Sean Mannion on 087-3643031.
Social Dancing: continues on Friday night to the music of Pat & Ritchie. Dancing 9.30pm to 12.30am.
