Death of Eoin Byrne RIP

The Clonmore club is in mourning following the tragic news of the death of one of our outstanding young players, Eoin Byrne, today.

Eoin was centre-forward on our MFC winning team last year and only last Friday played for our U19 team. Eoin was also a talented boxer and represented Ireland. Not only was Eoin an outstanding sportsman but he was an exemplary young man and a Meitheal leader in Colaiste Eoin.

The club extends deepest sympathies to the Byrne and McCarney families at this sad time. May Eoin rest in peace.
