Clonmore GFC

Clonmore had to rely on two late points by Josh Bowes and Larry Doyle to scrape a draw in a game that they should have wrapped in the first half when we missed at least two clear goal chances. We did score two very good goals fom Josh and Eoin Byrne and an excellent long range free from Jordan Tallon left the score 2-1 to 0-6 at the break.

Clonmore opened the second half brightly with the lively Eoin Byrne kicking a fine point but a litany of needless fouls in the second half gifted the momentum to Myshall and four frees from their centre forward put them 0-10 to 2-2 coiming to the end of normal time. Then Josh kicked a fine point from an awkward angle and after Tom Pollard was fouled close to the square, Larry kicked the equalising free.
