Athlone Town FC Press release Athlone Town FC is once again asking people of Athlone to sign up to its patrons scheme after the club's place in the League of Ireland was confirmed this week. Over 250 people have already subscribed to the scheme and the club needs to secure 400 patrons in order to fully clear its existing debt.

Become a Patron and keep Athlone Town FC in League of Ireland Football Athlone Town FC need 400 patrons to contribute a minimum of 10 per week, 43 per month, 260 half yearly, 520 annually or a 1000 full payment in order to fund the annual running costs of the club and to guarantee the club a regular income in order to ensure the club reduces is debts.
In return for this commitment patrons will receive the following benefits:

Public Meeting Monday 15th December 2008. Your Support is Vital Athlone Town FC will hold a public meeting in the Shamrock Lodge Hotel on Monday 15th December at 8pm to outline the precarious financial position the club know finds itself in.
