Little Cian McDonnell Lynch has been given only months to live without the crucial operation which can only be performed in Boston or London. Cian, from Carlanstown, Co Meath , suffers from a very severe form of Dyskeratosis Congenita which affects one in a million children. He has already lost his sight and underwent a successful bone marrow transplant just two years ago. Unfortunately as his condition is so rare, it took a long time to be discovered. Just last January he spent five weeks in hospital for tests on energy levels and low oxygen saturation counts and was diagnosed with another illness which disrupts blood circulation.

On Tuesday 30th June at 8pm the U12 & U14 teams will join the adult team in Cracking for Cian. The Couch to 5k ladies are welcome to join in the fun. Text Cian to 57802 to donate 2 euro. #‎crackin4cian
